Clamping
Helical Clamp

2006 – C3
Snapshot
Self locking helical connector which defines a reliable interference fit. The weakness conferred by the slot is helical and therefore consistent under variable load conditions.
Applications
Construction, pipes, furniture, & general assemblies.

Twin Helix Clamp

2009 – C4
Snapshot
Self locking twin helix which defines a reliable interference fit using the principle of a
Chinese finger trap. Shorten to insert the pipe parts, and spring form then self locks.
Applications
Plumbing, gas pipelines, construction & general assemblies. Very resistant to shock, flexure, and thermal variation.

Internal Coiled Spring

2006 – C2
Snapshot
Self locking helical connector which defines a reliable interference fit, suitable for internal connection of tubular elements. In golf allows adjustable length golf clubs.
Applications
Golf, pipes, furniture, & general assemblies.

Helical Wire Strainer

Snapshot
Self locking helical connector and tensioner for conventional fencing wire, which defines a reliable interference fit. The locking element is self locking and helical and therefore increases under higher load conditions. Variations can be single ended (as shown), double ended, or attached to other termination details. The device can be designed to be (1) pre-stretched prior to wire/cable insertion and then (2) subsequently released to add extra tension to the wire/cable.
Applications
Connection and tension of wires, cables, and stays for agricultureal marine and general application
